Need an obit that doesn't appear on line?
You can get copies - but would need to know where the person died and the exact date. There are two libraries that will assist you if you have that information. Most of the county was covered by the Herald Palladium newspaper and the Benton Harbor Public Library can help you with them. If the person or persons died in or around Niles the Niles Public Library can assit you with those in the Niles Daily Star. If it was Niles area you can go to www.nileslibrary.com and search their obituray index by name and then you will know if they have that obit or not. I believe both places charge a couple of dollars per look up. Contact either of these libraries for additional information.
