is located along the West side of Lake Boulevard along
the top of the bluff, from Park Street north to State Street.

*Footnote For Ben King:
Ben King was a well known poet and was born March 17, 1857 in St. Joseph, Michigan. He married Aseneth Belle Lantham, also of St. Joseph on November 27, 1883 in Chicago, Illinois. They had two sons. King was well published in newspapers and journals. And sometimes he went under the pseudonym of Bow Hackley when writing his articles. Kings life was all to brief as he died on tour on April 8, 1894 while in Kentucky. His remains were returned to St. Joseph for burial. He is buried in City Cemetery in St. Joseph Michigan.

*Footnote For The Sand Castles Memorial:
The Sand Castles Memorial is actually on the lower bluff which runs along the canal that leads to Lake Michigan. Given to the City of St. Joseph in memory of Frederick S. Upton, 1989.
