Arden Grade School
located on US 31 in Royalton Twp
built about 1871

1929 - 1930 Teachers	Mrs. Andrew Emlong Mrs. C. B. Burns
1941 teacher	Mrs. Mary Block
May 3, 1946	School destroyed by fired when belfry and roof had caught fire. Mr. William Johnson Jr. is credited for seeing the fire and warning the 28 students and Mrs. Mary Block, teacher, to evacuate the building.
February 1947	New Arden brick school house completed to replace one destroyed by fire. Homer Harper, deceased before school was completed, drew up the plans and Pearson Construction Company built the new building.
