built in 1895.

World
War I is also known as the First World War and the
Great War
and took place primarily in Europe from 1914 to
1918.
The immediate cause of the war was the assassination, on 28 June
1914,
of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne
& his wife
Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg. They were shot to death in
Sarajevo.
